Sony Xperia Z2 (Sirius) gets compared to Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z in latest leaked photos
It’s been almost a month since the last time we saw leaked photos showing Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone codenamed Sirius (and which will probably be introduced as the Xperia Z2). Back then though it was depicted doing its thing by itself. Today we have a new round of leaked images, this time comparing the Z2 to its predecessors – the Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z.
The handset on the left of the picture below is the Sirius. In the middle we have the Xperia Z1, and the right side is occupied by the Xperia Z. As you can see, the designs of all three are incredibly similar, but the Xperia Z2 manages to be bigger than the other two – which means it should come with a larger screen (a 5.2-inch panel was rumored at one point).
And now here’s a shot of the two versions of the Xperia Z2, white and black, side by side:
The Xperia Z2 may get unveiled by Sony at its MWC event which takes place on February 24 in Barcelona. It’s not going to be a huge update to the Xperia Z1, it seems, coming with the same 20 MP rear camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor as well, but it could get 3 GB of RAM and may run Android 4.4 KitKat from day one.
