Release dates for Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, and the new HTC One possibly leaked

On Monday, Samsung will introduce the world to the Galaxy S5, its next flagship device. Sony may unveil its competitor, the Xperia Z2, on the same day. And HTC will announce the new One on March 25.

But what about their release dates? When can you expect these three superphones in stores? Well, obviously we don’t have anything official on this yet, but only leaks to go by. Yesterday we found out that the Galaxy S5 would be out in mid-March, around two weeks after its announcement.

According to some new info, though, we might see it even sooner. A lot sooner. Next week, in fact. Yes, in mere days from its introduction, the Galaxy S5 may already be available. At least in the Netherlands.

The image above purportedly represents the contents of an internal document from T-Mobile Netherlands, talking about the expected release time frames for a few upcoming smartphones. The first in line to be out is the Galaxy S5, supposedly coming in the ninth week of the year (that’s next week).

Then, in week 11 (which starts on March 10 and ends on March 16), we’re apparently going to see the Sony Xperia Z2 on store shelves, followed by the new HTC One in week 13, which is actually the week of its announcement (March 25 is that Tuesday).

If this is true, it looks like both Samsung and HTC want to get their new devices in the hands of buyers immediately after their respective unveilings, while Sony is using a more relaxed approach.

Obviously though, this could be fake and not an internal T-Mobile document at all. Even if the info inside was true at some point, things may have changed in the meantime. So as always, be advised to not lose your skepticism.
