LG L40, L70, and L90 priced in the UK as they go up for pre-order
Three new LG smartphones can now be pre-ordered in the UK. The LG L40, L70, and L90 have all been officially unveiled around a couple of weeks ago, pre-MWC. Together they make up LG’s third generation of the L series, a line of handsets that supposedly focuses on bringing good design paired with decent specs to the masses – that is, to the most affordable price points.
The new members of this line are no exception to that rule, and they all run Android 4.4 KitKat from the get-go. The L40 comes with a 3.5-inch 480×320 touchscreen, a 3 MP rear camera, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, 14.4 Mbps HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1,700 mAh battery. It can be yours for £104.40 if you pre-order it from Clove.
The LG L70 has a 4.5-inch 800×480 IPS touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera, a VGA front camera, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, 21 Mbps HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2,100 mAh battery. It can be pre-ordered from Clove for £164.99.
The L90 features a 4.7-inch 940×560 IPS touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front camera, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, 21 Mbps HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2,540 mAh battery. It is priced by Clove at £209.99 and can be pre-ordered immediately.
In all three cases, the retailer hasn’t made shipping information available. The release dates for all of these handsets are still up in the air, therefore, though the prices do seem to be official.
