Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and LG G Pad 8.3 may land at Verizon on March 6
Earlier this month we found out that the gargantuan Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet was headed to Verizon, thanks to a leak of the press renders for Big Red’s version. That said, Verizon still hasn’t officially told us when to expect the Note Pro in stores.
Fret not, though, for we have a new leak to the rescue. Android Police received the image you see below, which apparently showcases a Verizon message to its employees. In it, we can clearly see that the Galaxy Note Pro is due to launch at the carrier on March 6. That’s next Thursday, by the way – so exactly one week from today.
But wait, there’s more. The Galaxy Note Pro will be joined in Verizon channels by the LG G Pad 8.3 on the same day. This is shaping up to be a pretty big day for tablets on Big Red. Obviously though, you should still be taking this information with a pinch of salt, as such images are easy to fake. Especially sketchy is the fact that there’s a typo in the Samsung tablet’s name. It’s called Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, not Galaxy Note Pro 12.1. Then again, it could just be an innocent mistake from whoever sent that email.
Anyway, if the launch does happen next Thursday, we’re bound to hear something official about it from Verizon itself pretty soon, so stay tuned.
