Oppo Find 7 officially confirmed to have two versions, one with 2,560×1,440 screen

For a while, we’ve seen clues that suggested the Oppo Find 7 would be launched in two separate versions – one with a 1080p Full HD touchscreen, and the other with the “2K” QHD 2,560×1,440 resolution that the Chinese company itself has been teasing for months.

This will help make the Find 7 affordable for many, in its 1080p iteration, that is, since the QHD version will surely be very expensive seeing as how it’s only the second ever smartphone to have that resolution.

Today Oppo took to Sina Weibo, the Chinese Twitter, and posted the image you can see above. This is then the official confirmation that we’re dealing with two separate Find 7 versions, and the main thing that will differentiate them – the screen resolution.

Of course, via various leaks we’ve also heard that the QHD Find 7 will get a more potent processor too, which makes sense if you consider the insane amount of pixels in there. Hence, this higher-end variant of the device will sport a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, while the 1080p iteration will have to make do with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU. This, however, hasn’t been confirmed by Oppo just yet.

March 19 really can’t come soon enough.
