LG G Pad 8.3 and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 now available at Verizon
Just as previously announced, the LG G Pad 8.3 has gone on sale at Verizon today. Naturally, we’re talking about an LTE-capable variation of LG’s tablet, and you can grab it from Big Red both with or without a two-year contract.
It’s been joined in Verizon’s portfolio by the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, also in an LTE incarnation. This tablet hasn’t even been officially acknowledged by the carrier yet, but it’s simply gone on sale. The fact that it would arrive on the same date as the G Pad 8.3 was leaked last month, and it now turns out that info was in fact true.
The LG G Pad 8.3 can be yours for just $99.99 with a two-year contract if you get it before March 10 (which is next Monday). After that deadline passes, you’ll need to shell out $100 more for it. If for some reason you’re against signing long-term contracts with carriers, you can buy it outright for $299.99.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, on the other hand, is much more expensive at $749.99 with a contract, and $849.99 without. This is to be expected, though, given its huge screen that’s also high-res and pixel dense, as well as the other specs that scream high-end. You’ll even get the S Pen stylus, which you can use for a lot of things.
