Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 now just $329
While the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 gets ready to launch, Samsung’s mainstream 10-inch tablet remains the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 launched last summer. This is by no means a high-end offering, mind you – that part of the market is now being covered by the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1.
The Tab 3 10.1 is basically a midrange tablet, one destined for those who don’t care much about spec sheets but want a 10-inch tablet and want it to be affordable. And affordable this is, having launched with a base price of $399.99 (for the 16 GB Wi-Fi model). At that price, it was $100 cheaper than the comparable iPad, so it certainly had that going for it.
Now, though, it’s become even cheaper. Both Amazon and Walmart are currently offering the 16 GB Wi-Fi version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 for just $329, which is $70 less than it used to be. This is a pretty good deal for a 10-inch tablet, despite this one not coming with any earth-shattering specs.
Speaking of which, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 has a 10.1-inch 1,280×800 touchscreen, a 3 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, a dual-core 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, and a 6,800 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
