Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 press renders leaked
By now it’s 100% clear that Samsung is working on a fourth generation of its Galaxy Tab tablets, which have (since the third generation last year) essentially become the company’s ‘value’ products in this space, with the Tab Pro tablets taking care of the high-end.
The Galaxy Tab 4 series will come in 7-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch options, according to past leaks and rumors. Even Samsung itself has acknowledged that these three are coming. And today we get the first glimpse of the 7-inch model, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, thanks to a couple of leaked press renders that @evleaks got his hands on. Here you go:
Nothing new or revolutionary here in terms of design. This clearly screams “I’m a Samsung!”. Like in the case of the recently launched Tab Pro models, gone is the Menu button, replaced by a Recent Apps button to the left of the Home button. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 will come with support for making phone calls, which is obvious because of the placement of that front speaker. How much or how often you’d hold a 7-inch tablet to your face for that purpose is another discussion entirely, but we guess it’s good to have that option – say, in case of an emergency.
The press renders have sadly not been accompanied by any details regarding the tablet’s availability or pricing, but the latter should be in line with its low-end specs. And after a couple of months of leaks and rumors, we expect the entire Galaxy Tab 4 line to become official shortly.
