Vodafone Smart 4 Mini now available in the UK for just £50 on Pay as you go
In the UK, Vodafone has added a new device to its own-brand smartphone lineup. It’s called the Vodafone Smart 4 Mini, and the “4” in the name probably relates to its screen size, and not it being the fourth iteration of a series – as it’s actually only the second Smart Mini handset to arrive in the UK, following the original from last year.
The Vodafone Smart 4 Mini has one claim to fame: its dirt cheap pricing. You can buy one for just £50, in fact, contract-free. You can rarely (if ever) find a cheaper smartphone on Pay as you go.
So just how much smartphone are you getting for that ridiculously low price? Well, the Smart 4 Mini comes with a 4-inch 480×800 touchscreen, a 3 MP rear camera, no front camera, a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of built-in storage, microSD card support, HSDPA, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and it runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Its dimensions are 121.6×64.4×12.3 mm, and it weighs 117 grams.
Vodafone is offering the Smart 4 Mini in black or white, and you can already order either version online at the operator’s website. It’s certainly not a great performer, but for the price it has almost decent specs.
