LG L90 announced by T-Mobile, L70 available at MetroPCS now
The LG L90 has long been rumored to be coming to T-Mobile, and indeed it will. The magenta carrier has made it official today, alongside the LG L70 for MetroPCS (which was also a very much expected move, given that a leak said it would happen).
The LG L90 and L70 were both introduced to the world in mid-February as members of the new L Series III, comprising of decent performers that sport decent design and come with decent prices. That’s the gist of it.
The LG L90 will be available at T-Mobile on April 30, so next Wednesday. You’ll be able to pick one up for $0 upfront, if you then make 24 monthly payments of $9.50 for the device. That brings the total price to a very palatable $228. The L90 comes with a 4.7-inch 540×960 touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front camera, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2,540 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
The LG L70 is already available in MetroPCS stores. It’s being offered for free (after a $49 mail-in rebate) – and keep in mind this is a prepaid carrier we’re talking about here, so there’s no need to sign a long-term contract or anything like that.
The L70 has a 4.5-inch 480×800 touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera, a VGA front camera, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a 2,040 mAh battery. It too runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
