Samsung Galaxy K (Galaxy S5 Zoom) stars in new leaked pictures
At the beginning of this month we saw a photo that was purportedly depicting the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom, and then a while later we found out that it may actually get unveiled as the Galaxy K. That’s set to happen on April 29, which is next Tuesday.
And now two more pictures of the Galaxy K have leaked out into the world, and they let us get an idea of the device’s thickness, unlike the image from that past leak.
Undoubtedly, the Galaxy K will be thicker than all of the current flagship smartphones, but that’s kind of inevitable when you slap a lens that could have easily been used on a compact digital camera atop a smartphone body. That said, the Galaxy K does look more pocketable than its predecessor, the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
The Galaxy K will keep the 10x optical zoom of that device, but bumps the camera resolution to 20 MP (up from 16 MP on last year’s model), at least if past spec leaks are to be believed. The phone will also come with a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD touchscreen, a 2 MP front camera, a hexa-core Samsung Exynos processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and it will run Android 4.4 KitKat from day one.
