Samsung SM-G750 has 5.1″ 720p screen, may be the Galaxy S5 Neo after all

Last month the Samsung SM-G750 got leaked for the first time. Given the limited specs that surfaced, we then assumed that this was either going to be sold as the Galaxy S5 Mini, or maybe the Galaxy S5 Neo (if something like that will ever exist).

Today things have become a lot more clear, courtesy of some import information from Indian database Zauba. The SM-G750 is certainly not the Galaxy S5 Mini. That’s because it has a 5.1-inch touchscreen. That’s the same size as the one packed by the ‘full size’ Samsung Galaxy S5.

The SM-G750 could still be a Galaxy S5 Neo, however. “Neo” in Samsung’s portfolio has so far stood for lower-end versions of devices, cheaper too. Take for example the Galaxy Note 3 Neo: it has the same design as the Note 3, but lesser specs and a smaller price tag.

This may be happening to the Galaxy S5 too. So aside from that premium metal version with a QHD touchscreen that’s been leaking a lot lately, Samsung’s flagship could also get a lower-end variation in the form of this SM-G750.

Previously leaked specs said the S5 Neo should come with 720p HD screen resolution, and a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor (which can only be either the Snapdragon 800 or the Snapdragon 801 from Qualcomm).
