Oppo Find 7a now in stock and shipping internationally (except for Europe)
Last month, Oppo took the wraps off of its newest flagship smartphone, the Find 7. It is then when the Chinese company announced us that there would in fact be two versions of this device – the Find 7 with a QHD (2,560×1,440) touchscreen, that should be available in May or June, and the Find 7a with a 1080p Full HD touchscreen, that went on sale in China almost immediately after the unveiling.
The Find 7a was due to be out for international markets in mid-April, yet that deadline has been missed. Only now does the company finally boast of having the device in stock and ready to ship for international customers. That is, unless you’re in Europe. For some reason that region of the globe still only gets pre-orders for the Oppo Find 7a, with no specific shipping date mentioned.
But if you aren’t in Europe (or China, where you’ve been able to buy the Find 7a for weeks now), then you’re in luck – especially if you’ve pre-ordered a Find 7a. Pre-orders will ship first, as you’d expect, and only after they are fulfilled will Oppo ship newly ordered devices. Shipping times will obviously vary depending on where you live, but Oppo’s official online store should have an estimate for you if you want to find out something specific.
The Oppo Find 7a is priced at $499 (or €399), and it comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera that can take 50 MP photos, a 5 MP front camera, a a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor (MSM8974AB), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a 2,800 mAh battery. It runs Color OS 1.2, an Oppo creation based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
