AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 Active revealed again
We’ve already seen AT&T’s version of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Active a few days ago, when a few hands-on videos showing it got leaked. And now it’s time to lay our eyes on it again, this time in press render form.
The image you see below is said to depict AT&T’s Galaxy S5 Active, though thankfully it looks like the carrier has chosen to only apply its logo to the back of the device, leaving the front nice and simple. In fact, from the front, this should be identical to the international variation of the handset.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has been rumored to come with the same hardware specs as the ‘vanilla’, non-Active Galaxy S5. On the other hand, the Active features a more rugged design, with rubberized sides for drop protection and may even come with increased water resistance compared to the Galaxy S5, so you’ll be able to take it with you when you’re swimming. Or something like that.
Given how much the S5 Active has leaked over the past week or so, we’re expecting it to become official pretty soon. If not this month, then surely in June we’ll be introduced to it by its maker. So stay tuned for that.
