Oppo N1 Mini will be announced on May 30
The Oppo N1 Mini will officially be unveiled on May 30 – in just three short days from today. This comes straight from the Chinese company itself. On Weibo, the social network known as ‘China’s Twitter’, Oppo used its official account to announce an event for May 30, during which it will share an important little thing with us. That’s the gist of the wording which accompanies the image you can see below, which contains a sketch of a device with a rotating camera a la the full size N1.
We’ve already told you that the N1 Mini will come with the same rotating camera mechanism as its bigger brother that’s already on sale. So this can basically only be about the N1 Mini, even if Oppo doesn’t mention it by name in its posting.
The Oppo N1 Mini has previously been rumored not to be that much of a ‘Mini’, supposedly sporting a 5-inch 720p HD touchscreen, a 13 MP swiveling camera with LED flash, 4G LTE support, and a 2,140 mAh battery. Its dimensions are going to be 148.4×72.2×9.2 mm, and it should weigh 151 grams.
It may get an octa-core processor, but whether it will be made by MediaTek or Samsung remains to be seen. Though we’ll find out everything there is to know about the Oppo N1 Mini this Friday, so stick around for that.
