The Galaxy Nexus will become available at Wind starting on February 3, which is this Friday. It will cost $249 on the WindTab+, $449 on the WindTab, and $599 outright.

As you can see from the flyer above, Wind expects the Galaxy Nexus to sell like hot cakes. Or maybe the stock levels will be really low at the beginning. Regardless, if you’ve always wanted a Galaxy Nexus from Wind, you should probably act fast on Friday – just so you make sure you’ll actually get one.

Also at Wind, the white version of the BlackBerry Curve 9360 will make its debut tomorrow. It will be free on the WindTab+, $99 on the WindTab, and $299 outright.

More than two months have passed, and many things have changed since then. First of all, BBX got rebranded to BlackBerry OS 10 because of some trademark issues, and the BlackBerry London seems to have lost its initial design very reminiscent of that seen in the Porsche Design BlackBerry P’9981.

What you can see above is how the London looks now, apparently. We have previously heard that the London will arrive on the market around September, which is still a long time from now, so maybe the design could change again.

Hardware-wise, both TI and Qualcomm 1.5 GHz dual-core processors are being tested. It also looks like the London may be launched in the UK first, and other BB 10 devices will make their way to the US. We’ll see.

The operator is going to discontinue three devices before the end of this month, and a big name in March. The HTC Flyer, Nokia E6, and BlackBerry Torch 9860 have all apparently run out of time at Orange, since their End-of-Life is at the end of January. So by the day after tomorrow, don’t expect to see either of these in stores (unless they still have some unsold units lying around, that is). Needless to say, if you want any of these three phones badly (and on Orange), act fast, otherwise you may be disappointed.

Due to be discontinued in March is the iPhone 3GS. That will leave only the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S in the operator’s portfolio, which is certainly decent enough for Apple fans in the UK. Yet if for some reason you absolutely want an iPhone 3GS, you should plan to get yours before March.

These things do periodically happen in the mobile world, as the operators are getting ready to sell new devices, sometimes some of the old ones need to go. It’s only natural.

Now SprintFeed has received Sprint’s latest EOL list, and it includes some big names from yesteryear. Alongside the less-known Samsung M360 and Samsung Trender Purple, the famous HTC Evo 4G will be discontinued sometime this week.

Next week it will be the turn of the HTC Evo View 4G, and the Wi-Fi-only BlackBerry PlayBook will join these devices into oblivion before the end of January. In early February, the Sanyo Innuendo Blue will have to go too.

That’s just the way the mobile world works, so don’t be quick to shed a tear for any of the aforementioned gadgets. They’ve had their moment in the spotlight (well, some more than others) and are now getting old and need to be replaced in the carrier’s lineup with younger, better performing offerings.

Some of that information has been confirmed today through another rumored roadmap uncovered thanks to BGR‘s sources. As always with these things, have a decent quantity of salt nearby.

So, apparently there will be a new PlayBook in May or June, size unknown (so it could be the 7″ tablet previously rumored for April), with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 42 Mbps HSPA+ mobile data connectivity built-in, and NFC support.

Again we’re hearing that the first BlackBerry OS 10 smartphone (codenamed London) will arrive in September. But this time we’re also told that there will be another OS 10 device out this year – in December. It will be a member of the Bold family, and, as you’d expect, will have both a touchscreen and that signature BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard underneath.

This is interesting because after RIM reportedly cancelled the BlackBerry Milan portrait slider project (which was also supposed to run OS 10) we were led to believe that there would be just one next-gen BlackBerry out in 2012. But perhaps that won’t be the case after all.

A QWERTY slider running BlackBerry OS 10 may arrive in the first quarter of 2013. This may be the rehash of the aforementioned Milan project – or will we see the first BlackBerry to come with a side-sliding physical QWERTY? It remains to be seen.

Back to this year, the two BlackBerry Curve devices reappear, and this time we even get their models. One will be the 9230 (EDGE-only), and the other will be called 9320 (and will support HSPA). The previous roadmap rumor said that these will be aimed primarily at emerging markets in the Middle East and Asia.

Other minor updates to existing devices may surface throughout the year, but overall this is claimed to represent the entirety of RIM’s plans for 2012 and beyond. If true, it would be a refreshing change of pace from the myriad of launches we’re used to seeing each year (on the other hand, it might spell trouble as the first next-gen phone will only arrive so late – we’ll see).

Since this is the second rumor to talk about the new Curve smartphones, the PlayBook in spring or early summer, and the BlackBerry London launching in September, we’re pretty confident that these things will indeed happen. That said, don’t take all of this for granted and do expect slight changes down the road here and there.

That’s because a pink version of the smartphone will become available at Carphone Warehouse in March. Yes, that’s a lot of waiting to do if you’re impatient, but it’s just the way things are. No other details have been made available, but we naturally expect this to come with specs identical to the other Curve 9360s out there. Price-wise, again there’s no official word but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to find the pink handset on the same monthly contracts as the others.

The newest of them all is the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, which was officially unveiled at the beginning of this month. The Ace Plus (pictured below) runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and features a 3.65 inch HVGA display, TouchWiz UI, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 512MB of RAM, 1GHz single-core processor, 3GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.

Customers will be able to buy the Galaxy Ace Plus SIM-free, too, starting February.

The Lumia 710 (which is also headed to Orange and Three) will be Vodafone’s second Windows Phone Mango handset from Nokia, after the Lumia 800.

As for the BlackBerry Bold 9790 (already available unlocked in the UK), this will come with BlackBerry OS 7, a 2.44 inch HVGA touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, NFC, 1GHz single-core processor, and a 5MP rear camera.

Perhaps surprisingly after the while PlayBook debacle, RIM seems intent on launching not one, but two new tablets throughout this year. One will have a 7-inch screen like the currently selling PlayBook, and the other will be bigger, sporting a 10-inch display. The former should arrive around April, with HSPA+ support, and the latter will only be out in December (yet it will get LTE connectivity). PlayBook OS 2.0 will be released by the end of February.

Originally, the 10-inch project was scrapped, but apparently it got revived at some point for whatever reason.

The first smartphone to run BlackBerry 10, the new OS version from RIM, will be available in September. And it may be the only BB10 phone of the year. It may get unveiled in May during BlackBerry World. But as that will happen so far from its launch date, it will probably just be shown, and won’t be ready to play with.

We’ll also see two new BlackBerry Curve handsets in 2012, both aimed at emerging markets (East Asia and Africa). One of them will be 2G-only, a rare occurrence these days, and they’ll both obviously run BlackBerry OS 7.x.

Don’t forget that this is just a rumor for now, so treat it as such. Even if everything in here turns out to be true, it remains to be seen whether these steps will be enough for RIM to regain its ‘cool factor’ in the developed world.

As expected, the new Droids are the Motorola Droid 4 and the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx.

Presented as “the thinnest and most powerful 4G LTE QWERTY smartphone”, the Droid 4 is not at all a mystery to us, as we’ve already seen what it has to offer quite a few times until now. Verizon says the Droid 4 will be released “in the coming weeks”, so that rumored February 2 launch date could be accurate. There’s no official word on the price, but it’s probably going to be $299.99 on contract.

As for the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, this is essentially a thicker Droid Razr (8.99 mm), because it accommodates a larger battery which “lets customers talk on the phone for more than 21 hours straight on a single charge.” Well, that certainly is a bold statement.

Like the Droid 4, the Droid Razr Maxx (pictured below) will be out in the coming weeks. It will cost $299.99 on contract.

The original Droid Razr will get a color refresh: purple – in addition to the black and white versions that are already available. All three versions will cost $199.99 on contract – presumably only after the Droid 4 and Droid Razr Maxx are launched (since right now the black and white Razrs are still $299.99).

Another Droid-related bit of news from Verizon: the Droid 4, Droid Razr, Droid Razr Maxx and the Droid Xyboard tablets will all be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sometime later this year.

Android devices aside, the largest US mobile carrier has also announced the BlackBerry Curve 9370 (which was initially supposed to arrive in November).

The Curve 9370 will be available online and in Verizon stores starting January 19. It will cost $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate (on contract, of course), featuring a 2.44 inch display with 480 x 360 pixels, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, 800MHz processor, a 5MP rear camera with flash, and a 2GB memory card pre-installed. The 9370 currently runs BlackBerry OS 7, but it will be updated to the new BlackBerry OS 7.1, alongside the Bold 9930 and the Torch 9850.

Well, apparently that won’t happen anymore. According to one of N4BB‘s sources, the BlackBerry Milan has effectively been cancelled by RIM before even being released. The reason seems to have something to do with a hardware issue. There can be many of those during the development phase of a new smartphone, but to cancel a handset for such a problem can only mean that it was huge and basically unsolvable without severely altering the hardware (which at this stage we’re guessing would have simply ended up costing way too much).

So that’s that then. It’s unclear if RIM will have another portrait slider in its lineup this year, but for fans of that particular form factor, let’s hope so. Otherwise 2012 may turn out to be all about full-touch devices as well as ‘classic BlackBerry’ form factor offerings for the Canadian company. We’ll just have to wait and see.

That’s because all PlayBook versions can now be bought for just $299 from the BlackBerry online store. So no matter if you go for the one with 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB of built-in storage, the price is the same.

That makes the amount of money you save on, say, the 64 GB unit be $400. It’s $300 for the 32 GB version, and ‘just’ $200 if you go for the 16 GB variant – but why would you? At this price, it’s clearly a bad idea to buy anything else than the 64 GB PlayBook.

This sale does feel like it’s a desperate attempt from RIM to rack up some PlayBook sales. But it may just work, despite the fact that you could find the 16 GB unit even $100 cheaper than this over the past few weeks. After all, what HP’s sales for the TouchPad proved was that people will buy cheap tablets, if they’re made by a well-known brand.

Let’s wait and see how this pans out for RIM. The offer, by the way, is only valid until February 4. If you’re interested, this is the link to go to now.

RIM has so far been famous for its name+four digit number model for naming devices. The name (sort of) signifies the class of device, and the digits are the actual model denomination. Fair enough, though quite convoluted for my taste.

But now RIM’s running out of digits – see, four isn’t enough anymore, as the company has already reached the 9900s. What do do next? Well, obviously, add another digit.

Hence, the BlackBerry Torch 10000. Don’t laugh, for this may become an actual product in 2012. At this point I’m hoping RIM simply won’t be around long enough to launch the BlackBerry Whatever 143580.

Anyway, the new name comes courtesy of Asurion, which is a company dealing with phone insurance. The Torch 10000 was spotted in a list of current and past AT&T smartphones ripe for being insured. So whenever it launches, the Torch 10000 may make it to AT&T.

Because it has such a round model number, you can probably expect the Torch 10000 to be some kind of a flagship device, perhaps sporting a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 8 MP camera, all in a very thin shell. Since the Torch line now comprises both touch-only as well as touch+sliding QWERTY units, it’s unclear what form factor the 10000 will have. But it will almost certainly run BlackBerry OS 10, which will be the next major version of the OS (based on QNX, which is currently powering RIM’s PlayBook tablet).

As for when you’ll be able to buy the BlackBerry 10000, the third quarter of next year seems most likely at the moment. So there’s still a hefty amount of waiting to do if for some reason you crave that extra digit.

Verizon, for example, will give you a Motorola Droid Bionic for $199.99, or the midrange Pantech Breakout for just $49.99. And the carrier’s ’2x data’ promotion is still going, so if you sign up for a data plan (which you must in order to get these smartphones anyway), you’ll get double the ‘advertised’ data traffic each month.

Sprint also has some neat cut prices for some products. Its promotion is available until January 7. You can get a Samsung Replenish for free, HTC Evo 3D for $99.99, and the HTC Evo Shift 4G for $49.99.

See, the BlackBerry P’9981 is basically just a redesigned BlackBerry Bold 9900, touchscreen and all. And it’s for the design (and the Porsche brand) that you pay a hefty premium.

The P’9981 is now available to buy in the UK at Harrods. The price being asked? £1,275. Harrods doesn’t have it on its website yet, but the retailer has told Phone Arena that the handset is up for grabs in-store. Apparently, many people are buying these. Oh, and they’re available in English and Arabic at the moment. So go grab one if you’re in that demographic.

The Porsche Design P’9981 has a 1.2 GHz single-core processor, a 2.8-inch 640×480 touchscreen, 8 GB of built-in storage, 768 MB of RAM, a 5 MP camera with 720p HD video recording support, and it runs BlackBerry OS 7. And if you’re going to buy this, none of that will matter to you.

The new smartphone is currently listed as “coming soon” over at Orange’s website. There’s no mention on when exactly the network will launch it, but it’s probably going to happen in January (when O2 and Vodafone will release the handset, too).

Running BlackBerry 7 OS, the 9790 features a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4 inch touchscreen display with 480 x 360 pixels, NFC, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, 5MP camera, 768MB of RAM, 1GHz single core processor, and 8GB of internal memory.

British customers will also be able to buy the Bold 9790 SIM free, starting January 9, for £399.

Retailer MobileFun says it will start selling the new Bold on that day. Unlike O2, MobileFun will offer the handset SIM free (it will cost you £399.95; that’s about €472 or $624 – rather expensive I’d say).

The Bold 9790 runs BlackBerry OS 7, and features a 2.4 inch touchscreen display with 360 x 480 pixels, QWERTY keyboard, NFC, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 1GHz single-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage space, and a 5MP rear camera.

But a new build of PlayBook OS, namely PlayBook 2.0, is scheduled to arrive in February – and we will likely see a new tablet, too. In fact, N4BB has already discovered some hints that suggest a new RIM tablet is coming.

The PlayBook OS 2.0 developer beta contains notification icons for 4G LTE. Moreover, there’s evidence that RIM’s playing around with 1280 x 768 screen resolution.

Sure enough, this doesn’t mean we’ll definitely see a new Playbook tablet with LTE and a 1280 x 768 screen. Since the upcoming BlackBerry OS 10 (initially known as BBX) will merge PlayBook OS with the current BB OS, maybe that 1280 x 768 resolution is going to be used only for RIM’s new high-end smartphones, which reportedly have “amazing displays”. We’ll see.

Like the London, the BlackBerry Milan comes in a large touchscreen display. What’s more, it also has a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Interestingly, CrackBerry reports that all the “next generation BlackBerry devices sport amazing displays” with pixel densities higher than the PPI the iPhone 4’s retina display has. This could mean they have HD (1280 x 780) screens, like some of the latest Android smartphones.

There’s no word on what specs the BlackBerry Milan will bring, but we shouldn’t be surprised if they’re matching the specs of the BB London (1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera).

Both the London and Milan will run RIM’s new OS – which will be called BlackBerry 10 in the end, not BlackBerry BBX (as initially announced).

The FCC doesn’t specifically say the REQ71UW is the Porsche Design P’9981, but there’s a PDF file over at RIM’s official website which confirms that this is the model number of the handset.

RIM has not announced the official price of the Porsche Design P’9981, however, word on the street is that the smartphone costs about $2,000 (unlocked, of course).

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is now available in Canada from a large number of carriers – as you’d expect in RIM’s native country.

Rogers offers it for $99.99 with a three-year contract, $349.99 on two-year, $399.99 on one-year and monthly, and $449.99 without a contract.

Bell will give you a BlackBerry Bold 9790 if you shell out $99.95 on three-year, $379.95 on two-year, $404.95 with a one-year agreement, and $429.95 without a contract.

Virgin Mobile offers the Bold 9790 on the SuperTab for $99.99, or $429.99 without a contract.

Telus is a bit more expensive asking for $129.99 with a three-year term, $379.99 on two-year, $429.99 on one-year, and $479.99 sans contract.

Koodo Mobile has the smartphone priced at $400, but you can pay $250 and have $150 on the Tab.

O2’s Curve 9380 is free on plans starting at £21.50 (with a 24 month contract), or at £32 (with an 18 month contract). You can buy it here.

The 9380 runs BlackBerry OS 7, and is the first in the Curve series to come with a full touchscreen display (3.2 inches, 360 x 480 pixels) and no hardware keyboard. Its other features include HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, NFC, 5MP rear camera with VGA video recording, 512MB of RAM, and an 806MHz processor.

You can also order the BlackBerry Curve 9380 at various British retailers – including Carphone Warehouse (which says it’s going to have it “by the end of this week” on Orange and T-Mobile contracts) and Play.com (which offers it unlocked for £319.99).

The Curve 9380 is going to be sold by O2 UK at some point, but before that happens, as you may already know, pre-orders for the SIM-free smartphone have started with a projected shipping date of November 28.

If buying a phone for the full price required if you go SIM-free and unlocked simply isn’t your thing, and you have nothing against signing contracts with operators, we have some good news. Starting today, you can also pre-order the Curve 9380 with Orange UK contracts.

The feat comes courtesy of Carphone Warehouse, which has listed the BlackBerry smartphone on a myriad of Orange contracts. The cheapest one that nets you the phone for free costs £20.50 per month, and gives you either 100 minutes, unlimited texts, and 500 MB of data, or 200 minutes, unlimited texts, and just 100 MB of data. However, there are many other plans to choose from, so make sure you take a look at them all when you head over to Carphone Warehouse to place your order.

The retailer says that it expects the first deliveries to happen by the end of this week, so act fast.

Play.com offers the Curve 9380 for £319.99. Unfortunately the shop doesn’t list an exact shipping date, instead saying that the smartphone is “usually dispatched within 4-5 days”.

Now if you don’t mind shelling out a bit more cash, MobileFun also lists the new BlackBerry Curve 9380. The price being asked here is £329.95, but it comes with an actual release date: November 28. Which, oddly enough, isn’t in “4-5 days”, but six. Still, close enough.

So it looks like RIM’s cheaper alternative to the Torch 9860 is bound to hit the streets in the UK in just a few days. If you’ve been craving an affordable touchscreen-only BlackBerry, start saving up.

There’s no word on how soon exactly, but the image seen below pretty much confirms the existence of a white T-Mo-branded 9900. Just like the black edition, the white one will cost $299 with a new 2-yr contract from T-Mobile.

The white 9900 will be launched in Canada, too, where Rogers is probably going to sell it starting the next few weeks. Needless to say, apart from the different paint job, the new white Bold will be similar to the original black one.

Specs wise, the Playbook features a 7-inch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera in the rear with 1080p HD recording, a 3 megapixel camera in the front, 1 GB of RAM, a 1 GHz dual-core processor,  and runs on Blackberry QNX.

Most of the sites have already updated their listings to the sale price, so if you are interested in the Playbook you can go ahead and grab one since they will probably sell out quickly. It will be interesting to see how this sale compares to the fire sale of the TouchPad. Let us know if you are going to snatch a Playbook due to the sale tag.

As for Vodafone, Recombu is reporting that the network will sell the Bold 9790 only to its enterprise customers, and it doesn’t “plan to offer it as part of their broader consumer smartphone line-up.”

The new Bold 9790 and Curve 9380 run BlackBerry 7 OS, and have touchscreen displays with the same pixel resolution (480 x 360). Of course, the screen of the 9790 is smaller (2.44 inches), since it shares the front of the handset with a QWERTY keyboard, while the screen of the 9380 is a 3.2 inch one (there’s no keyboard at all there).

As for the Curve 9380, RIM’s other new BlackBerry 7 smartphone announced today, this was confirmed by O2, which said on Twitter it would bring it to the UK “soon.”

Both the 9790 and 9380 run BlackBerry 7 OS, featuring support for NFC, and Wikitude’s Augmented Reality app.

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is a more affordable alternative to the Bold 9900. It offers a 2.44 inch touchscreen display with 480 x 360 pixels, 1GHz processor, 5MP camera, 8GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.

The BlackBerry 9380 is the first Curve to come without a hardware keypad. It features a 3.2 inch display with 360 x 480 pixels, 5MP camera, 800MHz processor, and MicroSD card support.

The Bold 9790 will be available in Indonesia first, starting November 25, for 4,599,000 Indonesian rupiahs (about $510). Not long after that, both new RIM smartphones should be released via “various carriers around the world.”

According to The Verge, which received the photo from an undisclosed source, the BlackBerry London should be released in June 2012, coming with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. What’s intriguing is that the London is apparently “thinner than” the iPhone 4 / 4S – thus it could be less than 9mm thin.

We’ve recently heard about another unannounced RIM handset, which also appeared as the company’s possible first BBX device – the BlackBerry Colt. Sure enough, RIM could introduce two BBX smartphones at the same time. Or maybe the London and the Colt are one and the same device (that render of the Colt may not have been accurate). However, BGR rules out both possibilities, reporting that the Colt has been scrapped in favor of the London. Only time will tell what’s really going on here.

There’s no word on when exactly the 9790 will hit Rogers’ shelves, and neither for what price. But if the image seen below is legit (and it most probably is), the carrier could introduce the new smartphone at about the same time with white versions of the already available Bold 9900 and Curve 9360 – possibly in the next few weeks.

The Bold 9790 runs BlackBerry OS 7, and features a full QWERTY keyboard,2.44 inch touchscreen display with 360 x 480 pixels, NFC, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP rear camera, 1.2GHz single-core processor, and 8GB of on-board memory.

Sure enough, we already knew that these new devices would be out today, but it’s good to see they’ve arrived on time.

The HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket are AT&T’s first LTE smartphones and, thus, the only ones that can provide true 4G data transfer speeds (at least in the markets where AT&T’s LTE network is turned on – where not, users can still rely on HSPA+).

Both the Vivid and the Skyrocket run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and offer high-end features (including dual-core processors). The Vivid costs $99 on contract and can be bought on Amazon in either black or white. Interestingly, the Skyrocket can be bought for just $149 on contract if you get it online (Amazon) – otherwise, its normal, previously-announced price is $249 on contract.

The Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash are AT&T’s first Windows Phone Mango handsets. The Focus S can be bought on Amazon for $150 with a two-year contract ($200 in-store). The Focus Flash is way cheaper (a penny on Amazon, $50 in-store).

As for AT&T’s new BlackBerry handsets, these are the Bold 9900 and Torch 9860, both coming with BlackBerry OS 7.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 costs $199 on contract and can be bought here, while the Torch 9860 is priced at $99, and can be bought here.

According to Mobile Syrup, the Canadian carrier will introduce the new BlackBerry smartphone “this holiday season.” There’s no word on its price yet, but it shouldn’t be a high one (the Curve series includes rather affordable devices).

The BlackBerry 9380 will be the first Curve smartphone to come without a hardware keyboard. It features a 3.2 inch scratch-resistant display with 360 x 480 pixels, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording, and an 800MHz processor.

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 will be up for pre-order at T-Mobile starting today (although right now the pre-orders aren’t live yet). The price being asked is a rather steep $249.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) with a new two-year service agreement.

If you’re interested in the Torch 9810 and want to be among the first to get your mitts on it, keep an eye on this page at T-Mobile. Pre-orders should start in a very short while.

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is one of the newer smartphones to come out of RIM. It runs the newest version of RIM’s OS for phones, BlackBerry OS 7, and comes with a 3.2-inch 480×640 touchscreen, a portrait-sliding physical QWERTY keyboard, a 5 MP autofocus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a 1.2 GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage, microSD card support, HSPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 1,270 mAh battery.

Specs wise, the Bold 9790 is nearly identical to the Bold 9900 with the exception of it being smaller. It spots a 1.2 GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera in the rear, 768 MB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage with up to 40GB expandable.

We do not have any info on availability or pricing yet. The rumors of a November release seem to be very accurate with the holiday season coming up and the fact that Blackberry should be releasing its BBX Superphones in the near future. We will keep you updated on the status of the BlackBerry Bold 9790.

Both the Bold 9900 (pictured below) and Torch 9860 will be released by AT&T on November 6, coming with 4G (HSPA+) support, and running the latest BlackBerry 7 OS. The 9900 will cost $199.99 on contract, while the 9860 – AT&T’s first full-touch BlackBerry – is going to be available for $99.99 (also on contract).

As for the Curve 9360, this won’t support AT&T’s HSPA+ network. It’s going to cost only $29.99 on contract starting November 20.

All in all, November 6 is going to be a big day for AT&T, as it will launch the two BlackBerries mentioned above, two new Windows Phone Mango handsets (Samsung Focus S and Samsung Focus Flash), and its first two LTE smartphones: the Android-based Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid.

Given not only the popularity of Android, but also the promise of faster data speeds (LTE is true 4G compared to HSPA+), I’m pretty sure the Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid will steal the show that day.

The Porsche Design P’9981 runs BlackBerry OS 7 with an “exclusive Porsche Design UI”, and is 11.3mm thin. It’s build from a forged stainless steel frame, and has a “sculpted QWERTY keyboard”, in addition to a hand-wrapped leather back cover.

Other features include a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Wikitude World Browser augmented reality app, 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 768MB of RAM, 1.2GHz single-core processor, 8GB of internal memory, and “exclusive PINs that help easily identify another P’9981 smartphone user.”

The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 will be available in Porsche Design stores around the world sometime later this year. There’s no word on the smartphone’s price yet.

It isn’t the first time Porsche ventures into the mobile phone world – the company has also worked with Sagem to make that Porsche Design P’9522 candybar back in 2008.

According to the Canadian company, OS 2.0 will become available to PlayBook tablet users in February 2012.

The “difficult decision” to postpone the software update has been made because RIM is not yet sure if the fresh version of the OS “fully meets the expectations of our developers, enterprise customers and end-users.” RIM also noted that PlayBook OS 2.0 will sadly not include a BBM application (as many have requested).

The BlackBerry PlayBook was launched back in April as RIM’s first (and only – for now) tablet, but it didn’t manage to achieve the success the company had hoped for.
