First we got a number of mobile phones from Samsung then there was Nokia with 3 new handsets. And at the end of the week we get 5 new cellphones from Sony Ericsson:

Sony Ericsson W810a Walkman phone approved by FCC on Sunday was first introduced during CES in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year. Sony Ericsson W810 Walkman is a quadband (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) EDGE music centric cellphone with 2 megapixel camera and removable 512MB Memory Stick that can be upgraded to 2GB.

Sony Ericsson W300 Walkman that also got approved by FCC last week is a low end quad band music phone that comes with integrated VGA (0.3 megapixel) camera and 256MB, upgradeable to 1GB Memory Stick micro.

Next one to get the FCC approval is Sony Ericsson K610 3G UMTS phone. Coming with Bluetooth connectivity, 2 megapixel camera and 512MB (upgradeable to 1GB) Memory Stick Micro Sony Ericsson K610i also has built in RSS reader,MP3 player and support for video calling function through the second VGA camera. Sony Ericsson K610i is one of the slimmest 3G dualmode UMTS (2100MHz) – GPRS 900/1800/1900 phones on the market.

Sony Ericsson K310i also approved by FCC is a very basic, entry level cameraphone with 128×16 pixel 65K colors display and integrated VGA camera. It is able to play MP3 files, however only 15MB of built in memory makes sure that you won’t use this feature for anything else except the ringtones.

Sony Ericsson Z525a is the last one to pass through FCC approval process last week. Planned for the deployment on Cingular network Sony Ericsson z525a is the upgrade of a popular Z520 phone line. Z525a is a basic, affordable quad band clamshell with integrated VGA (0.3 megapxel) camera, mp3 player and “push-to-talk” functionality.

Sony Ericsson Z525i is a basic and affordable quad-band (GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900) clamshell with VGA camera, Bluetooth connectivity and great design. It has exchangeable front and back covers that come in several color schemes and nice light effects to announce incoming call or message.

The best thing in this upgrade is “Push to talk” functionality, popular among U.S. users. According to Sony Ericsson:
