Sprint readies lots of HTC Android phones, BlackBerries, WiMax phones and more
Sprint announced quite a few interesting phones lately, including the Palm Pixi, Samsung Instinct HD, Samsung Intrepid, Samsung Moment and HTC Hero.
Well, the third largest US carrier prepares even more surprises for 2010.

Samsung Moment (InstinctQ) with Android announced by Sprint
The long-rumored Samsung InstinctQ has just been announced by Sprint as Samsung Moment – the first Sprint Android device to be made by Sammy.
We don’t know why Sprint ditched the Instinct branding for this new Android smartphone, but Moment sounds pretty good anyway.

Samsung InstinctQ M900, of which we first heard about in July, is indeed an Android smartphone – as suggested last month.

Sprint announces 17 new WiMax (4G) markets for 2009
Sprint has just announced that no less that 17 new US markets would benefit from its 4G network by the end of 2009.

Sprint launches hybrid 3G/WiMax Wi-Fi routers
Sprint, the only mobile carrier in the US to offer 4G services, announced the availability of two 3G/4G hybrid Mobile Broadband Routers: Sprint Personal Hotspot PHS300S, and Cradlepoint MBR-1000 Broadband Router – the latter being targeted at business customers.

Sprint announces new 4G (WiMAX) markets and devices
Sprint’s high-speed 4G, WiMAX-based network (currently functional only in Baltimore) will be expanded this year in many new US markets, the mobile operator said today.
By the end of 2009, the following cities will be able to benefit from Sprint’s 4G services: Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Worth, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Portland and Seattle.

If this newly-leaked Sprint roadmap is legit, the second largest North American CDMA carrier will have at least 10 new handsets to offer in the upcoming months.

LG Rumor2 officially announced by Sprint; priced at $50 on contract
