<p>Now Russian mobile operator Sky Link, together with Korean handset manufacturer Ubiquam has teamed up to solve this problem and has launched what they claim to be worlds first dual standard mobile phone <strong>Skylink Ubiquam U520</strong>.</p>

<p><span id="more-434"></span>Ubiquam U520 is a dual mode CDMA 450 &amp; GSM 900/1800 phone that works on both on CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO and GSM GPRS 900/1800 networks.</p>
<p>On CDMA EV-Do the phone supports up to 2.4 Mbps data transfer rates and  Brew 3.1 applications/content platform. On GSM networks, in addition to voice calls,  Ubiquam 520 supports only up to 80 kbps GPRS data transfer and JAVA apps.</p>
<p>Other features of Ubiquam U520 include 2 megapixel camera, 1.9&#8243; TFT 262K color screen, external memory card slot, USB  and Bluetooth connectivity.</p>
